JUDY RICKARD

Judy's background in executive search and selection and human resource consulting has exposed the real need for independence in employment screening.  In searching for a supplier in Australia, Judy found the industry lacking and so in 2006 PeopleCheck was established.

Following a career in advertising, Judy joined Drake in Melbourne in 1979, transferring to Sydney in 1983 to join Drake's executive recruitment division.  She joined Morgan & Banks in 1987 as a senior consultant specialising in sales and marketing recruitment across a wide range of industries including FMCG, services, banking/finance, transport and IT&T.

Judy established her own company, Rickard Stanhope Consulting Group, in 1991 and built a talented team of consultants providing services in executive search and selection, human resource consulting and training and career transition services.

In 2002 Judy became a director of the Donington Group, a company specialising in career transition and outplacement services, with offices throughout Australia and New Zealand.  Also in 2002 Judy became a director and was appointed CEO of Options Consulting, a company specialising in the recruitment of temporary and permanent support staff.

Judy has project managed many large scale national recruitment projects and is well known by her clients for providing innovative solutions to people problems.  Her expertise also includes competency based job design and evaluation, performance management, staff development and training.

As the Director of Sales and Marketing of PeopleCheck, Judy now spends her time establishing and growing the company by educating corporate Australia on the value of utilising independent background screening as a vital part of the recruitment process.
