Elaine commenced her background checking career with PeopleCheck in 2008 as a Research Analyst and has advanced rapidly within the company to her current role of Internal Services Group Senior Manager. Elaine holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Psychology and Computing and is currently studying towards a Certificate IV in Information Technology to ensure her knowledge remains current and cutting edge.
Elaine’s extensive industry and product knowledge developed since joining the industry in 2008, coupled with her strong attention to detail, have been an important foundation for her role as Internal Services Group Senior Manager.
Elaine’s current role as Senior Manager of the Internal Services Group is a broad role and covers all internal matters associated with the running and foundations of the daily operations of the business. Elaine’s team consists of office management, administration, and reception functions, along with the Accounts and Technology and Security Teams. Elaine’s team also assists with responding to queries from clients and candidates, particularly as these relate to technical or escalated matters.
In the initial stages of a background checking engagement, Elaine works closely with PeopleCheck’s Business Solutions Team to oversee and ensure the client’s account on our candidate and client management system, PRIVI, and any other required technology are in place. Elaine’s group manage incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate teams; troubleshooting technology issues with clients and candidates; and ensure invoices are distributed on time and accurately.
Elaine enjoys working closely with clients, candidates and PeopleCheck’s internal teams to ensure clients’ specific requirements are appropriately communicated. Elaine’s passion is to ensure PeopleCheck’s teams maintain strong relationships and ensure that the expectations of our clients and candidates are consistently exceeded.
Previously, Elaine was a Manager in PeopleCheck’s Research & Investigation Group, the core of the business, where candidate communication occurs and background checks are processed, reviewed for quality assurance, and released to our clients. Elaine draws upon her experience in the Research & Investigation Group when making adjustments and improvements to PRIVI and our clients’ accounts to ensure that all processes and procedures operate efficiently, internally and externally.
Prior to her employment with PeopleCheck, Elaine was a Project Manager for an internet marketing company. In this role, Elaine developed extensive knowledge and background in creating and using online systems and this has been invaluable at PeopleCheck, specifically in the development and improvements of internal online systems, and the support provided to clients and candidates to troubleshoot any issues as they may arise. Further, this role enhanced Elaine’s skills in the world of online research, imperative in any background checking environment.
Throughout her career, much of Elaine’s experience has involved delivering high quality and consistent customer service, in line with client expectations. This focus has been invaluable in the ongoing development of background checking services offered to PeopleCheck’s clients and candidates.
